I firmly believe that most of the organizations are relying on social media nowadays due to their broad reach and provides the best option for the corporations to determine the how good they are in the context of customer or market reach and product visibility. Social media sites such as blogs and other networks permit people to form connections with other users and brands and share content such as messages, news, video and photos. Sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have experienced remarkable growth over the last few years. Social media offers a chance to connect and interact with your customers, promote your brand and bring traffic to your website.

According to Hubspot, the survey found 27% of the total online time is spent on social networking and 85% of internet users have Facebook accounts and 49% have twitter accounts so Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn are major social media sites to promote your businesses. Getting associated with social media can also produce a more human face to your business and be fun at the same time. Using social media is a great approach to make your business seem friendlier and to form closer relationships with your customers. By interacting with social media, a company can interact directly with customers and by creating exciting and useful content you can position yourself as an expert in your field.

According to Hubspot, the survey found that 89% marketers using social media sites for generating business exposure, 75% marketers using for increasing traffic, 65% using for building a loyal fan base, 61% marketers using for generating leads, 43% marketers using for improving sales. It’s quick and easy to set up a company outline on the major social media sites and then start publishing your own content. If the content is electrifying, other users will share it with their friends, which will generate interest in your business. Such personal recommendations are extremely effective way to uphold a business and using social media has the potential to immensely expand your reach. Social media is not just an approach to talking to your clients, but also a great method to listen. By monitoring what people are saying about you on Twitter, blogs and other social networking sites and talking to customers directly, you can catch real time response on what clients are thinking about your products and services. Social media yields almost double the marketing leads when compared to trade shows, telemarking, direct mail etc. and conversion rates of the social media leads are 13% higher than the average lead conversion.

More than 50% of marketers believe that social media has assisted them to improve sales and 60% of online consumers follow or give feedback to brands on social media sites. I know it is not a fresh idea that we are not aware of but I am almost sure that this blog can help anyone who wants their businesses grow in a tremendous way.
